The Moen Smart Faucet with Motion Control offers the convenience of turning the faucet on and off or selecting different temperatures through motion control. This advanced faucet features sensor technology that allows you to activate and adjust water flow with a simple wave of your hand. In addition to motion control, it also offers voice activation, app control, and traditional handle control.

There are four methods of operation available - advanced sensor control, voice activation through a smart speaker, the Moen Smart Water App, and traditional handle use. You can mix and match these methods, independent of the handle's position.

The advanced sensor technology positioned at the front of the faucet allows you to control the temperature and water flow by utilizing simple hand motions without actually touching the faucet. You can swipe your hand left for hot water, right for cold, down for warm, or high five and hold your hand over the sensor to turn off the water.

Additional customization options are available through the Moen Smart Water App, such as changing generic terms like 'hot', 'cold', and 'warm', as well as setting safety and security features. The touchless motion control and voice activation can be used regardless of the faucet’s manual handle position.

The faucet's LED temperature indicator changes from blue to purple to red to visually indicate the water’s temperature change. It also dispenses water at desired temperatures and volumes, ranging from as little as 2 tablespoons to as much as 15 gallons.

When activating a temperature command, the faucet will run to the desired temperature then pause and hold until you are ready to activate. To enable voice controls, wireless internet, a smartphone, and an Amazon or Google smart device are required.

The Moen Smart Faucet is DC powered and includes six D-Cell batteries with a life expectancy of up to a year under normal usage, eliminating the need for electrical work under the deck.
